Afghan diplomatic passports require a visa. Ordinary, special, and service passports also require a visa, with a conditional e-Visa route for travelers who already hold the listed third-country visas or residence permits. If you are traveling on a different official passport class, confirm treatment directly with the official source before travel.
Afghan ordinary, special, and service passport holders with a valid Schengen, United States, United Kingdom, or Ireland visa or residence permit may use the one-month single-entry Türkiye e-Visa route when the official portal confirms eligibility.
Türkiye says travelers should carry a passport valid for at least 60 days beyond the permitted stay, and the MFA also advises having a travel document valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
